Dr. Richard Wrangham, a McArthur Foundation fellow and professor of
anthropology at Harvard University, and writer Dale Peterson have
written a fascinating, important book here. In it, Dr. Wrangham uses
his study of chimpanzees, gorillas, orangutang and bonobos to explore
the reasons why humans--especially male humans--are so violent, and
what we can do about it. If you're interested in our primate origins,
